The four lipid markers
Eden's Cholesterol package covers total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL and LDL. Total cholesterol is the overall figure; HDL and LDL are two carrier fractions reported separately; triglycerides are a different class of blood fat measured alongside them.
Reporting the fractions separately is what allows a clinician to read the overall number in context.
Combining with other markers
Cholesterol is frequently reviewed alongside glucose markers. Eden's Diabetes Check-Up covers HbA1c, fasting blood glucose and urine analysis, and the Liver Function package covers AST, ALT, bilirubin, protein, albumin and ALP.

Where to test in Doha
Testing takes place at Eden Health Center, Laffan Tower, Floor 1, West Bay, Doha. The laboratory is open Saturday to Thursday from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM and on Friday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Home sample collection is also available if you would prefer the visit to take place at your address.
